Politics

Post by Kathy on Fri Dec 12, 2008 5:59 am

Good grief! I know politics is a dangerous subject, but I can't resist. Our Illinois govenor alledgedly tried to sell the senate seat. I never thought about anyone doing that silent , did you? Hmmm... Rolling Eyes not too bright. That's bad. Have you heard of anyone trying to sell their seat in a church? I've seen people sqaubble over a seat, but never anyone trying to buy, or sell it. They probably thought their tithes earned them the right to sit in the same pew every Sunday Very Happy .

I don't feel so bad now since there's proof that being formally educated doesn't guarantee one from doing and saying stupid stuff. You'd think people today would be smarter and act better with all the education they can get. Corruption has a way of coming in and blinding the so called intellectually intelligent and proving them to be as dumb as they think the rest of us are. At least we're smart enough to realize a person can't sell a senate seat! Come on Exclamation With today's economy I can't even buy a seat in a movie theatre.
